Media Wise recently organised and moderated Océ NV’s annual stakeholder engagement dialogue in Amsterdam. The all-day event was attended by 36 Dutch and international stakeholders and held at the organic restaurant De Kas situated in a historic greenhouse. Four speakers representing four different Océ stakeholders presented on various aspects of their own sustainability performance and how that relates to Océ. As the winds and rains pounded the greenhouse structure, participants debated the strengths and weaknesses of the Dutch-based printer, copier and scanner manufacturer’s sustainability strategy. The meeting was described as “inspiring” by several stakeholders and will lead to policy suggestions and revised targets for Océ to adopt as part of their ever-improving sustainability strategy.
