This year the BBC Public Writing, Public Speaking and Digital Voice Awards are taking place on the 9th of April, in Amsterdam. Designed to stimulate interest in both written and spoken English, the awards attract students from all over the Netherlands and provide an excellent platform for them to improve their English language skills.
On March 30 Media Wise and the BBC Awards organisation organised a Master Class in which finalists practiced their speeches and were given feedback by a panel which included the popular national Dutch TV news presenter Sacha de Boer.
